The school garden is really taking shape! The stones are set for the pizza and moon gardens. The topsoil and compost will be spread and layered this week. The garden beds await children’s hands for planting seeds, and the children are excited. They have been able to watch from the playground the transformation of the front space. Classes have started gardening in small planters and beds outside their classroom windows.

Turning Sun has joined in the dialogue of the Farm to Preschool movement. We feel inspired to participate and learn. October 24 is National Food Day so look out for our school-wide snack challenge and other little goodies.
